Montclair’s Bay Street Bike Depot is for you!
Sign up for a membership to the Bay Street Bike Depot, located at the Bay Street NJTransit train station in Montclair, New Jersey. The Bay Street Bike Depot will provide you with safe, secure, covered storage of your bike. The Depot is accessible via key fob to members only. You may also purchase the use of a locker to store your bike shoes, helmet, and anything else you need for your ride.
Monthly membership begins a week after joining; a key fob will be sent to you through the mail. Membership will renew each month on the date you joined unless you cancel, at which time it will end at the end of the current cycle; to cancel, please send a note to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Annual membership begins a week after joining; a key fob will be sent to you through the mail. Membership will renew each year on the date you joined unless you cancel, at which time it will end at the end of the current year; to cancel, please send a note to email@example.com.
Lockers are available on a monthly basis. You will be assigned a locker and will receive an email with the locker number and a combination for the lock.
Want to access the Bloomfield Bike Depot also? Purchase an add-on membership and you will have access to that Depot also, according to the rules for that Depot.
Once you join, we will send you a key fob that will allow you entrance to the depot. You may choose any one of the two-tiered racks to place your bike. Please lock your bike to the rack.
The Bike Depot is monitored via video recording. However, NJBWC is not responsible for loss or theft of your bike or objects placed in the lockers. Videos may be reviewed.
The Bay Street Bike Depot is a partnership between the New Jersey Bike & Walk Coalition, a 501(c)(3) public charity, and Montclair Township. All proceeds above expenses are used by the NJBWC to further their mission of making streets safer for all users in the state.
